For the fourth year in a row, Le Royal Hotel Beirut partnered with CrossTalk, a non-profit ecumenical Christian education program to give children suffering from cancer the confidence needed to also shine in society.

With the support of highly reputable 10 hairstylists who offered their services for free, Le Royal received over 100 good-hearted guests who donated their hair to the Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL). To maximize the event's benefits for the children, the hair-cutting session was held on Sunday, September 22, at a time of year when many ladies tend to cut their hair before the fall and winter season.

On hand to oversee this noble activity was the Royal Spa's own talented hairstylist, Dany Ghayad, who also participated in the drive to cut 10 centimeters of hair from the clients. The excess real hair went to produce attractive wigs for the children, making their wishes comes true and helping them to battle their illnesses by creating a more positive outlook.

For Le Royal, this is an important initiative that falls under its ever-growing Social Corporate Responsibility (CSR) program to support charities, communities, people in need, and the environment. Le Royal extended the use of its premises and offered refreshments for all the guests and for CrossTalk completely free of charge, representing yet another gesture to help those who need it the most. The particular initiative is set to make many children happy and give them better opportunities to build a brighter future. Stay tuned for more non-profit CSR initiatives from Le Royal!
